PLACE VENDÔME pondrá a la venta su tercer álbum, "Thunder In The Distance", a principios de noviembre mediante Frontiers Records. El ex HELLOWEEN Michael Kiske ha vuelto a cantar todas las canciones del disco, que han sido producidas y mezcladas por Dennis Ward (PINK CREAM 69, UNISONIC).
Los compositores de los temas han sido Magnus Karlsson (PRIMAL FEAR), Timo Tolkki (ex STRATOVARIUS), Alessandro Del Vecchio (HARDLINE), Tommy Denander (RADIOACTIVE), Sören Kronqvist (SUNSTORM, ISSA), Andrea Cantarelli (LABYRINTH, A PERFECT DAY) y Brett Jones.
Algunas de las canciones de "Thunder In The Distance" se titulan "My Heart Is Dying", "Fragile Ground", "Break Out", "Maybe Tomorrow", "Power Of Music", "Lost In Paradise", "Hold Your Love", "It Can't Rain Forever" y el tema que da nombre al trabajo.
Como ya os habíamos informado, la formación de PLACE VENDÔME en este disco está compuesta por Michael Kiske (UNISONIC, ex HELLOWEEN) a la voz, Dennis Ward (PINK CREAM 69, UNISONIC) al bajo, Uwe Reitenauer (PINK CREAM 69, SUNSTORM) a la guitarra, Gunter Werno (VANDEN PLAS) al teclado y Dirk Bruinenberg (ELEGY, ADAGIO) a la batería.
El último disco de PLACE VENDÔME fue "Streets Of Fire", publicado en febrero de 2009 por Frontiers.
